On 24 January 2024, the High Court of Justice of England and Wales issued an order approving the Scheme of Arrangement (“Scheme”), proposed by English & American Insurance Company Limited.  The effective date of the Scheme is 25 January 2024.
 
The Scheme will now proceed to claims submission and valuation. Policyholders must prepare and submit their Claim Form and supporting information by 11:59 p.m. London time on 9 May 2024, if they have not already done so.
